Phew, Nordic Game Jam 2025 is now officially over, and our brains and feet are sore.
But as it always is, when we saw people playing at the traderoom floor, there was a lot of things we would love to patch, so here is a quick patch to polish off the roughest edges.
Patch notes:
- Cooled down the difficulty escalation greatly.
- Fixed some UI scaling issues.
- Added two tracks to the in game soundtrack.
- Fixed bug that would cause tooltips to break.
- You now always get a cooking result notification, not only the first time.
- Fixed bug where you can put skillpoints into skills beyond its maximum.
- Cleaned up the combat inventory, added some polish to its enter-leave animation.
- Monster tooltip now also shows max HP.
- Tooltips no longer show when pointing at where a now dead creature was.
- Health bars now disappear when a mob dies.
- Mobs now react to being killed a bit quicker.
- Fixed broken scrollbar inside cookbook and added styling.
- Reworked the camp/cooking flow.
- Added some animations to the cooking window.
- Added versioning to the main menu.
We will ofcourse still preserve the version we submitted at the jam deadline (v.0.5) as the Jam Deadline Build.
